Simone Leigh: Groundbreaking Feminist Art

Simone Leigh is the first black woman to represent the United States at the world’s top art festival, the prestigious Venice Biennale. And Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art won the competition to create Leigh’s Venice exhibit and to bring her work to Boston for a landmark exhibition.
