Great interview. I'm an American, and I'm convinced European metal has set todays standard for musical quality and talent! The Omega CD, YT videos released for Omega Alive, and Sabaton's Christmas Truce, are the best music of the last year or so! There are so many good bands, and the ranks of female vocalist fronting them is deep with talent, like Floor, Simone, Elize Ryd, Alissa Whit -Gluz, and so on! Can't wait to download the Omega Alive CD!

Great interview!! I was so impressed with Omega Alive (always clear to me it was never going to be a live performance...) - a fantastic show and massive production - spectacular and so much to see in every song - an absolute masterpiece! Have ordered the Earbook, vinyl and a t-shirt! I love the messages that Epica convey - so powerful, have been listening more and more since March 2020 and the pandemic & these guys really give me hope! Really keen to support Epica - might go and have another look at their shop! Thanks for doing this Pedro & Simone!

What a great interview. I have seen a couple of interviews and a live chat on the topic of Omega Alive, but none of them was closely as informative as this one in prividing some background information on the "making of". I guess your contagious enthusiasm might have helped getting Simone so talketive about it. On an unrelated note, I'm currently a bit sad because the Epica concert in january for which I had tickets has been rescheduled to 2023. On the positive side, it is now on my birthday (speaking of a nice present). Now I just have to hint someone to give me Omega Alive as Xmas present.

Oh my! I was very excited to see you were able to talk with Simone! This interview was very good. All the questions were on point and of course our queen Smoon was as lovely as ever. Code of Life is absolutely brilliant on any level you care to name. Epica asks the big questions about human nature and existence and manages to provide magnificent and uplifting presentations. As far as I have heard, only Tuomas Holopainen and Nightwish are in the same league. Not to mention the fact that we have two Dutch goddesses fronting them.
