Thank you very much for sharing this. Through this video we can learn many things about how to love and respect the elders and other family members and how to be proud of our (different) lineages. I sent one of my students to visit you a few years ago. Her name is Katie. When she returned her skill had improved. Thank you for welcoming her. One day I hope that a few more of us can visit and pay respects. Jef from London UK.

Loved this! Glad you guys were able to have that opportunity and share it because what you did was very important in picking his mind to get the info straight from the source being he was actually there. Much respect to you guys & God bless.

I like to combine parts of kyusho jitsu and wing tsun in my training. They go very well together just as with anti terror trainings :)

dont meant to spam ya. he was mumbling a bit so its not entirely clear that he said he trained with him for 50 years or he has known him since 50-60 years ago. as you may be aware that ip man wento hong kong in the late 40s and died in the 70s.

No disrespect but master chow is not answering the correct answers to the questions asked about how yip man trained his students on the dummy. It would be nice if Master Chow showed us the correct way by demonstrating his wooden dummy form skills so we can put our minds to rest. Thank you.

Dhiru Parmar it’s simple. Look at other non Ip Man branches in Guangzhou like Sum Nung/Yuen Kay San and you see their correct smooth, short powered forms that are precise, mechanical and have that fluidity to them. That’s how Wing Chun should be. I think Chow’s Wing Chun is how Ip Man wanted Wing Chun to be taught. From what I’ve seen, his students have some of the best balance on one leg and proper kicking techniques vs all the other so called Ip Man branches out there. They even understand that doing horse stance prevents take downs and better balance with the long pole form too. The smoothness looks almost similar to Yuen Kay San/Sum Nung in my opinion. It looks combat ready as opposed to these other guys who when they are on one leg, wobble and don’t have power behind their kicks. And it also looks super stiff so they can’t transition smoothly.
