Lol what bad timing for me to pick it up . . . I used to skateboard a lot but without anyone else to skate with that got boring . . . I just picked up rollerblading like a month ago cus it's one of the few things I found I enjoy doing alone but there's little to no community behind it which kinda sucks . . . the cool thing about blading though is I can freeskate by myself and play hockey with others lol

+1minutewithDC, idk where you live, but most cities have a decent size group of bladers who try to meet up and skate together. Like in DFW, where I live, we've got a group of about 500 that meets up (not all together tho) and so we aren't always blading alone. Also, blading is fun even if you do it without anyone or with non bladers, because it's that fucking awesome

What sucks is trying to get a good set of blades locally. I remember being able to buy some roces at big5, they may not have been the best, but at least we had some choice. Now u cant find anything near me in California.

Speed is what makes everything look better. Remember that you slow rollers. Slow looks stupid, fast is fast, and that fast slide was ballsy, also the late turn around on that fast ass soyal was redic (fav trick of all time)
