Finally I can lock my wife and kids in the house. Been having a problem with them trying to escape and last time they popped the hinge pins out. This will keep them in their dungeon.

to be precise when adjusting the position in height of the door: the screw at the bottom is for lifting the door, the screw at the top for lowering the door. Dont use both together! And if you did tighten that screw too much, so it fell through the hole out to the back, you did not damage it. Unscrew the plate and and put it in again.

Can these hinges be fit into a standard 3/4” jamb with the trimmer stud behind the jamb mortised? Or should they be installed in a 1.5” jamb?

In UK this jig costs £520. Cheap as chips. Also Could you upload link where it shows hoe to use it on door frame?

I can’t help but notice you did not show how you made the mortise into the door frame to fit the hinge.

Do you install the hinges into the door first or the frame? Does it matter? The video shows into the door first, any trick/ advice ? How much of a gap do you leave between the bottom of the door and the floor/threshold?

Was considering these for a hidden bookcase doorway in master closet; question is whether these will work with the bookcase being flush mounted against the wall? The doorway is behind the bookcase and it swings outwards; currently just have standard hinges in place for test fitment but thought these would really work well and make it unnoticeable. Thoughts?

You don't really notice traditional hinges. Probably good for fire doors.

Jesus Christ! When you buy this shit, it routers the jamb stock automatically! AND the dude drilled the pilot holes freely without the use of a centering bit. So far from real-life fine carpentry. Internet failure 100 percent!
