Usually you don't have to show a passport, you can easily travel across borders by train, car, etc. It's only when you fly, or go to the UK.

Great stuff man! I work at a Marriott hotel in the US and we always have to ask for both room number, last name and then confirm it before someone gets into the breakfast buffet. You're a professional at it though so I'm sure you could still get through even if you had to provide that information!

Some banks just give you money for opening a new bank account (around 50 eur). Some they just give it to you upfront no conditions, others ask for example a minimum of transactions before getting the "gift". I once swiped money between my accounts to get the sweet 50 gift :D I continue to use their card so I guess you can call it a win win .

Now a lot luxury Hotel are getting very stricter and changing their policy around Hotel buffet . Before you just have to tell staff what is your room number ? than you enter the Buffet restaurant enjoy your meal. Now some luxury hotels had to change their restaurant policy and add additional measure which is a requirement to present their room key card and tell what is the room number. Because in the past a lot hotel face hight volume of Dine and Dashing ,internal shrinkage and fraudulent related activity where customer guest provide a another guest room number to gain free food .
