A good coach is so invaluable. I was fortunate to get a lesson from Mike Jasnau in May. I learned so much in 90 minutes. He gave me a thumb drive of the lesson, and I refer back to it when I find myself struggling.

Thanks for showing this. My pivot does the same thing and goes right. So I exaggerate and try to go left. It the only way to get in the oil during transition. I love reading Coach Tyrel articles on BTM

3:44 wow great advice, I’m definitely going to be watching this over. 5:00 simoo is doing real good as the coach is telling him. 7:31 definitely going to hit the lanes tomorrow. Roll out 10 games for practice. I’m gonna be doing the three step for the first four games.

Brad and Kyle did the same lesson . . today is my practice day before league tomorrow going to work hard on this mechanic. Sadly at 75 I don't have the athletic ability I once had so I must get the mechanics right, this will help I'm sure 🙂

@@davidsoto1472 yes Sir’ glad your still bowling. Ppl say it ain’t much, but it’s really good exercise for the body. I bowl with a man that’s your age in tournaments on pro patterns and combine age has to be over 100yrs to roll. I’m telling you what he can still roll and some teams we roll against get a little perturbed because he is a machine playing down & in, constantly 17 to 9 break on 5 all the time, his avg is 180 and usually bowls above by 18-23 pins. I couldn’t ask for a better partner. Keep rolling Sir.

I have a footwork issue as well. Not the same as him, but finishing timing is what I call it. When I let go and finish the slide I feel is off. No definitive finish timing I guess. Sometimes I feel myself even go to put more on the ball and my feet beat me to the shot ever so slightly and I hate it 😂😂😂. Makes me miss either 5 left at arrows or too far right.

That's a problem a lot of people have because most people don't walk a tight rope when they walk normally. So trying to incorporate crossover steps within your normal approach is difficult until you practice the hell out of the fundamentals of the proper footwork.

Answering the vid question, my balance at the foul line isn't great. If I fixed that issue I could up my average by 10-15 pins

I dont like this visually. To me, Simon is in incorrect timing at his fourth step. The ball is on its way down before he steps in to the fourth step. That will make hit drag the ball in to the body and the body will be in the way of the release. I belive Simon should work with his swingline to enchance his game even further. Darren Tang has a similar style, and he is one of the best bowlers on earth. Another bowler that comes to mind is Kert Truus from Estonia. The difference between Simon and Truus is that Truus swings outward and loading the ball under the body in the last step. With that beeing said, that is not what they training on, and ive been followning this channel for a while so i know this is Simons playing style, and i see a remarkeble difference from a few years back. Thats the beauty with ours sport, that it doesnt matter how it look, if you do the same 12 times in a row, you will get a perfect score. Keep doing your thing and you will be great.
