This is a fabulous tutorial Maliek, it just goes to show if you put your mind to it (and with the help of the PD Professor) the bridge between the Adobe offerings (Premiere Pro & After Effects) and the Cyberlink products are getting smaller and smaller with each new version. I have both but cannot remember the last time I even opened any of the Adobe products, with the exception maybe of Acrobat Pro. This now opens up a whole new world of possibilities.

An excellent tip. It's worth noting that the image you use must NOT feature a transparent background or the top edge of the cube wont show. It's also worth knowing that the rotating image will be reversed on some faces so having something containing text will look a bit odd.
@PDU_Tutorials2 жыл бұрын
The image I used was a transparent .PNG image so not sure why your use of .PNG images removes the top of the cube. Good point about the image being reversed.

Hi there! How do you create a disc golf scorecard graphic? Where it shows the current scores and when someone putts out, it shows what they got on that hole. If you need reference look up a Jomezpro tournament. They have it on the bottom of.their videos but id like to figure out how to add it to mine!

You can use an image of a score card and use the title designer to add scores to it.

Hi Maliek, I love this. I was thinking of using it as a moving water mark in a video so the fade-in would be a problem, then I hit on the idea of cropping out the fade-in and lining up the rotation of the faces start to finish and repeat. I'm going to work on that this week.

Love it. Super cool and you're a pleasure to follow. Question. I tried it out and the cube is not clear. The spin lags. Not too techie here but my computer is updated so I don't think it's that. But Cyberlink animation looks fuzzy when I hover over it so maybe it's cyberlink itself.

IThis dizzy GramGram has been spinning logos.... but I have me in a car going in one direction (my texture) ... and as I spin every other picture is flipped. Is it possible to make each side of the cube have the picture not flipped...all facing the same direction? I was trying to make my little Pollyanna driving around the cube in one direction. Also...how do a make a sphere rotation? Thanks for any replies. When I was little I watched Saturday Morning cartoons.... now that I am big... I watch Saturday morning Maliek.

I’m not aware of a way to do this without having the image flip on each side. You can’t use this to spin a sphere but I made a tutorial on it years ago. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJLblHSLiZlrqaM

@@PDU_Tutorials I figured as much but thought I would ask. Thanks! I've been playing with this thing for over an hour... let's say I wanted to make it a watermark for a video that is 10 mins long - how do I get it to last that long without it slowing to an almost imperceptible crawl? Argh!

I don't mean text, but different 3D models. Now there are programs in which you can make 3D models and then process them in Adobe, Fusion... It would be good in PD. But not PD New York:)
