Great video. I wish you would have added the direct and indirect effect results (i.e. values from the SPSS output) on the models to further help us interpret them, particularly for the parallel mediation model.

Thank you! Can I ask you two questions? 1. How is it possible that the upper and lower booth of interest are different if you add an extra variable? In the first analyses it is .0663 and .2325 and in the second it is .637 and .2271. 2. At 16:16 you talk about the significance of interest in relation to anxiety. What about achieve in that case? I want to use model 12, I have 6 independent variables need to see its effect on mediator and dependent variable .. and want to make integrations between the 6 independent variables and see it's effect.

Dear Crowson, after I followed your steps in this nice video and tried to analyze I got this massage from the out put: ERROR: You have specified an M variable in a model that does not use it. so what is the matter, please?

Make sure you have correctly set the model number. It's 4 for simple or parallel mediation and 6 for serial mediation. Also make sure you have your mediators in the M box.
