Thank you! Children in China are very obedient and have a lot of respect for the teacher. It doesn't mean they don't get rowdy or misbehave. The trick, in my opinion, is to be thoroughly prepared and genuinely show that you care. :)

@@vallerina1960 Cooool! Guess what?!! I have two master's, one in management, and one in... wait for it... literature and creative writing!!! I am so happy you are familiar with the Baltics because we are too small to be noticed. I am practically in love with you just because you know where I am from. Haha. :)) I am way too busy to do the DELTA. Plus, I know that CELTA/DELTA focuses primarily on adults and I am teaching the little ones. One of the teachers I am friends with took the CELTA course and it had very little practical application because it was detached from real-life lessons by light years. Sorry, Cambridge! Teaching native speakers and ESL or L2 learners are two VERY different worlds. That is exactly why there are TESOL or TEFL majors at the universities.

I applied the 5 rules in my classroom then it's work very well with my students they're in grade 3 boys and girls .
