I think it's better to work within the program, rather than another vst, Dash is such an awesome teacher!

Great lesson thanks. I see your LFO is tempo-synced with Cubase. The fact is that my LFO has a slight lag behind the metronome, in serum and other synths this is not. I tried to change the phase of the lfo, but this is not an option. How do you think it can be solved.

My tip for expanding on this concept is to chain LFOs and or Trance Gates and use Macros/Modwheel and or LFOs to morph between them. For example you could have two polymetric Trance Gates in serial and then use a square LFO in say 7/4 (for more polymetric fun) to modulate the mix of each gate and switch between the patterns. Similarly you could add a second ARP LFO, assign a Macro to the Depth sliders (one positive, one negative modulation) and jam between the 2 sequences on the fly.

Well, I’m bitwig, you can use the arpeggiator, which uses the gate, or you could combine the gate device and the arpeggiator device. I would also use Kirnu Cream more, if it worked correctly

What you teach in your videos is pretty difficult to learn :D. I wish these info's were written in my brain when I was born. Even If I learn %2 of what you teach, I feel like I would forget it easily. But I haven't seen someone like you so dedicated, a producer should be like this.

Hey man thanks for your videos, its so inspiring. I've watched a lot, now got back to the beginning of the phase plant playlist to repeat forgotten techniques. Pls help me with understanding. How does filter can modulate? I really get it with LFOs, envelopes, its basic. But filter?? I use it rarely and I know the impact, but I cannot explain for myself what does filter make out of the phase of the saw for example. Thx!!

Hey Dash I think there is a mistake here with the notes, it's a bit confusing but if I understand correctly you refer to the intervals of semitones so for example 10 is a whole note before the root. But actually in the grid you draw, the 12 intervals up make actually 2 octaves if I'm not mistaken. Therefore 10 will produce two whole notes before the root, so 10 is F and not G. Thanks for the great video!
