I believe some of the focusrites have the same thing with switching off the phantom power- think it's a safety/protection thing as some mics might be damaged by 48V. not sure tho

2:20 xD but I feel the same about this GUI, it all looks the same. maybe you meant the opposite that when a plugin is very pretty and sectional and guides you in a certain path, it can lead to less exploring?
@hpjackson1Күн бұрын
Dude that disperser technique is something I've always wanted to try. There are lot of artists who rinse it but it's also defined their basses. Super mad. Shame I haven't dabbled in phase plant

Dude your using Bitwig. I dont understand why all these tutorials use so many 3rd plugins to make a point. In Bitwig the stock devices or the grid should have been used.

@@DashGlitch No disrespect, I Love ur videos. But Im just learning Bitwig and have tried other daws. But almost all daw tutorials on youtube consist of primarily using 3rd party pligins which most of us dont have. I thinks it would be great for beginners to use as less 3rd party pluigins as possible. I thought the strength of Bitwig waws Bitwig adn the grid! Just saying. BUt keep up the great job.
@DashGlitch12 сағат бұрын
true I agree, you will find my channel promoting probably the least 3rd party plugins on youtube, I focus mainly on free stuff except where there are things which the native tools just can't achieve ;)
@WizardOfAILand12 сағат бұрын
@@DashGlitch Thx for the prompt replay. I really trying to like Bitwig. The grid and visuals makes it a great learning tool. I like it because it seems self contained and especially the Help menus. After playing with so many DAWs I have settled on Bitwig and MPC Beats for sampling. Instead of flopping from DAW to DAW I have decided for the next months to master Bitwig(no VSTs). KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK111

@@DashGlitch I saw that with the Expressive E Osmose synthesizer, sounds can be produced in many different ways depending on how you press the keys. Can you take advantage of these possibilities with modern synthesizers like Vital, Serum, etc.?

Résultats intéressants. Peut-être encore un peu de détail mais l'idée est très bonne. Personnellement à partir de là je ferais un mélange avec une onde triangle filtrée et travaillée mélangée à votre travail. Merci de votre partage.

I finally got the Roland Gaia 2. I have connected thru midi to my DAW. But having a slight delay. its only a slight delay when pressing keys. Its not totally instant. I have checked the audio buffering. and few other settings. but maybe its me but there is a slight split of a second delay. Any advice or am I too fussy? Thank you in advance.
@DashGlitch2 күн бұрын
Nice! Latency is tied to the audio buffer size on the audio interface. If you set it down lowest it will help, otherwise you can monitor the input directly (most interfaces have a switch/setting for that) that has no latency 👍 hope that helps

Awesome stuff! Have you thought about making a video of bass synthesis using serial filters? Like a 24 + 6 db on the filter cutoff?
@Gnurklesquimp24 күн бұрын
For techno and stuff, are there any synths specialized for patches that create the kick and bass from one morphing oscilator? That could be kind of a nice workflow. Also cool for punchy basses in dnb etc., id imagine
