This is a beautiful sky painting! I particularly like the light clouds that you lifted out with a tissue. Have you ever seen a sky like this for real? Usually you’re running for cover before getting a drenching! Thank you for the tutorial.

Im trying to come more proficient at skys its a funny ongoing hot mess of practice but it gives my art soul joy so that for me is a win everytime....i pick up a paint brush no matter what occurs on the sheet im still feel joy...thank you for these short videos to continue to learn from your techniques the talking thru the video helps me 100 percent im so greatful i foynd this channel and subscribed.......mikelle art mom🎨👩‍🎨✍

Lois , I tried this and it looked like a splatter of dead crows on the paper. I guess I overworked the sky. For some reason my dark gloomy skies never look right. I keep trying. Thank you for a lovely demo and beautiful sky.

What do you do with all your practice pieces? I have a lot that I’ve painted both sides but don’t want to throw them away. Lately I’ve been doing Pravin watercolour art journals, to remove the problem. Would be interesting to know what you do.
