Thanks for sharing, Sepp! Good that You showed us that sometimes even YOU need a 2nd try at friction fire...hahaha. ;) Thums up also on whittling a simple broad spatula instead of carving a spoon...that's what I do, too. If the food is thick or lumpy a spatula is fine, and for anything more liquid (broth, soup etc.) you just drink it out of the mug.

I went on a hike on a trail today I'm in southern California people say it's amazing here and people want to move here but I go out and I see in the mountains all dry and dead no visual edible plants berries natrual stuff. I'd like to live somewhere where I can forage for fun or practice skills in a healthy ecosystem rich with life
