I was looking for another project that used the pinch pot method to create a form that was familiar and simple and I stumbled upon this one. It's a good stepping stone to more complex sculptural projects. The pinch pot method has so much potential and I hope this easy project can begin to open that up for you or those you teach.

Oh I did this In school! We put newspaper In the pot before shaping It though since It would get burnt away In the kiln and we didn’t need to score the clay and use slip
