Hi there. I actually ran out of steam with this project and moved location which put a halt to completing this project. My apologies

Ahhhhh he is so cute! I ❤️him! Wish I had a kiln! I love working with clay. Polymer clay gets too expensive but if I stuff him with paper I might give it a go! Thank you for this lovely video!

Polymer clay is expensive, but for small items for accents in your mosaic that are for inside, polymer is an option. With clay,,, see if you can find someone locally to fire work. There are many potters out there who do fire work for "outsiders" as long as you know the type of clay you are using. do a lot of firings for outsiders (people who are not students). it is extra income for me!!! Good luck!! and lovely to hear from you.

Hi, I couldn’t find the next video, I wonder if I need to take off the news paper before firing the bird.
@HannMadeStudio3 жыл бұрын
hi....I actually ran out of time to do another video. NEWSPAPER....dont worry about taking it out as it will burn out in the kiln whilst it is being fired. there are some who recommend taking the paper out as they believe it will cause problems in the firing, created carbon in the kiln. I have fired for over 35 years and had o ill effects in my kiln due to paper burnout. in fact, there are fibres in paper clay, and this is not an issue. Have fun.

Hello Cheryl , could I use the Pal Tiya instead?
@HannMadeStudio2 жыл бұрын
Yes you certainly could. You can even colour pal tiya with cement colour oxides. Go for it and have fun

I really enjoyed … I did (and sold) hand-built pottery for years…you don’t have to fire this? Air Dry Clay?
@HannMadeStudio2 жыл бұрын
This is clay that I fire. It’s durable for outside. Thank you for sharing your story. I am glad you found something of value
