Beginners Chicken Curry
Ingredients:-
Boneless Chicken- 500g
Onion- 2
Tomatoes- 2
Green chillies- 3
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
Turmeric- 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder- 2 tsp
Coriander powder- 2 tsp
Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
Desiccated CoconutPowder -1 tbspn
Oil - 2 tb spn
Pepper- 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves- 1 sprig
Coriander leaves- few sprigs
Salt - To Taste
Water - As required
Method:-
In a pan add oil, onion, green chillies , salt and sauté till onions turn brown colour. Now add coconut powder and brown it too..
Then add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, chilli powder, tomatoes and cook it all the raw flavours are gone. Add coriander powder, garam masala, water and bring it to a boil. Now add chicken pieces and cook it closed for 10 minutes. In the last add crushed pepper, curry leaves, coriander leaves and adjust salt.
Serve it with Rice/ Roti

That chopper is a real failure....it doesn't cut well if the onion is large or big chunks ...forget that process.... Better to learn how to finely chop the onions and tomatoes.....
