hey, I was following your tutorial alright until the part where I should add the repeater. I don't have an "add" pop up menu on my layers panel, do you know a way to get around that?

Hi, not sure why it wouldn't be there for this tutorial. Are you trying to make the clock as well or something else with the repeater? The layer you need to repeat should be a shape layer. Do you see "animate" where "add" should be?

I know this is old but I just had the same problem. The anchor point you want to change is the anchor point that's underneath "repeater", and you want to take the dimension of the clock (so say 300) and divide it by half to get the correct anchor point (So in that case, 150.) That will only change where the ticks are, and shouldn't affect your layer position.

If you are stuck in a repeater and not perfectly round, change the pixel aspect ratio in the composition settings to square pixels.

Just make sure you export with "alpha and RGB" channels clicked, and the comp should export nicely for Premiere.

Why keyframe both? Just set the rotation of the minute hand to be 12x the hour hand or vice-versa for however that math works out.

If you are not making the clock in the center of the screen for whatever reason, the tick repeater must have the anchor point moved if that isn't clear, for those still looking at this 7 years later...lul

8 months late but... in this video it's 180°. It depends on what you want to do. If you want the hour hand to move 12 hours, then it will rotate exactly 360° ONCE. At the same time the minute hand will rotate 12 full circles.
