How do you know what side is someone's "good side"?

@ great question, often they will tell you. For some people, they have an obvious angle where their whole body just looks more natural.

I hate the waist up pictures, it's kind of sexist - for the women, your eyes go straight to the chest. If it's in an email signatjre or on the company website, it should just be tbe face in my opinion. Blegh.

Many people aren't a big fan of waist up. But for marketing purposes, they have so much more flexibility in practice.

I don't like crossed arms either. Not for the reasons you mentioned, but it looks so corny & generic. @scottlawrencephoto What are your thought about the hand on the chin pose, whether sitting or standing? For me, that pose when standing looks awkward. However, when sitting, it can work, I believe as long as you don't have crossed arms & the hand on the chin pose with your pointer finger up? Lol. Do you have any tutorials about what colors to avoid for professional shots? For me, I think I look good in white/cream, blue, & coral families of colors. I definitely wouldn't wear stripes. However, I tend to look good in a nice polka dot blouse as a contrast to a nice solid color suit. I know you should be modest with jewelry, however, most times I like chunky statement jewelry as a contrast &/or compliment to what I'm wearing. BTW, stay outta my business with the old heads hot. My first & only one was July 31, 2019 on my birthday. I found the lady on Groupon. She didn't help me fix my attire. I didn't like my shadow & arms crossed in most photos. I do have my headshot that she took on my LinkedIn page that turned out okay. I'm so ready for some new ones.

Sometimes the hand on chin works but it’s harder to do than it looks. Check out my other videos on what to wear!
