I think im gonna put your videos this summer on repeat, to calm myself down. I used to love summer, now the heat, tourists, all the noise all day.. that all triggers my panic attacks and i hate those 3 months now. My mum used to leave me in our local bookshop when I was 5 with a lovely lady who owned the bookstore and at 14 I was able to stay in Foyles bookstore in London whilst parents popped to the map shop. I sat on a sofa reading my book and no one bothered me. Loved it! So I blame my mum for my addiction (self care) of books!!!

I really needed this today, wasn't feeling too good and this made me feel cosy again, so thankyou!! I love the way you describe books and how they allow for adventure in the comfort of your own home, that is exactly how I feel too, things I love the chance to explore without wanting to live them. I am about to read a book about a victorian house with a ghost, but this one is not a horror, I am far too cowardly to read actual horror, it is a romance with a paranormal twist, and like you I usually save the atmospheric books for a cosier time of year, it definitely adds to the experience but I can't keep my little mitts off this one. Autumn has always been my favourite season, I am not opposed to summer, the lighter evenings are lovely for me as I am scared of the dark, (yeah I know, a grown woman with a night light, but there we are) but I dread the heat. I love the food you guys show in your videos, I am a foodie and I love to see what other people eat, it gives me ideas, some of your dinners make me so hungry!!! Wishing you another cosy, happy day, love to you and yours.

I was enjoying so much this video, so gentle, calm and peaceful…Dracula by Bram Stocker is an amazing book! I was reading it a several times at different ages. In similar way as you “left” Dracula for the autumn I’m looking forward to start Andrew Wilson “Death in a desert land”, somehow it feels right to start it in the July right in the middle of summer, maybe the cover just making a hint to read it in this warm time. I’ve got this book last year actually for free, there were a few shelves in my favourite bookshop where you were able to pick one for free if you are buying something else, it was a nice opportunity to get to know more authors, this one is inspired by Agatha Christie, which immediately took my attention. Thank you for inspiration, looking forward for a new video 😊💜📚
