For some resone my hat came out humongous but I did everything you said and counted all the stitches and used the same yarn and the same hook. And I am not new to crochet😢

At first I was getting the same thing too! It was gonna fit my 2 year old instead of a newborn. I frogged it and tried to tighten my stitching, super tight, and that seemed to have fixed it. It definitely looks like it will fit a newborn now.

Yes! Me too! I did exactly as she said, same hook and yarn, but mine came out huge!!! Not at all the same size as stated. Looked nothing like her picture. Anyone know or have the same issue as we did?

Hi, I am glad you put this comment here. It's about tightening. If you have that problem just use smaller crochet hook. Probably I tight it more than you..

Omg I was getting ready to ask the same question, I've made a beautiful baby blanket but I also want to make a matching hat before my sister's baby shower next week. How did yours turn out?
