Simple Crockpot Barbecue Beef

This video will show you how to make an easy barbecue beef in a crockpot. You can do the same thing with a pork roast.

Easy Crockpot Barbecue
chuck roast
1 bottle barbecue sauce
1/2 cup beef broth
garlic powder to taste
minced onion to taste
Add enough barbecue sauce in bottom of crockpot to cover. Add minced onion and garlic powder to taste . Add chuck roast. Add the rest of the barbecue to top and sides to cover. Cook on low 6 hours. Halfway through cooking time flip over and add beef broth. I served it on garlic bread with onions.

I may also try this with Pork using Bessinger's Original Golden Recipe Sauce, a local brand in Charleston since the 1950's. Their sauce can be ordered online, sold in their restaurants locally, and offered in the grocery stores. Both types all good; my sweet mustard-based sauce or Linda's sweet brown sugary hickory sauce. Which you prefer usually depends on which part the country you are from.
