I have finally bit the bullet and gotten two pair of earrings. I have been wanting the Hana Marble Blue for soooooo long! I can't tell you how excited I am to get them! It's really nice to get them 50% off and free shipping, since I'm in Germany I usually have to pay a lot in shipping and wait a long time for stuff to arrive (as far as I know the Canadians do know the trouble, and I guess, being in central Europe I am at least privileged enough that most places even ship to us. I have a friend in Serbia who has to live with not everyone shipping there and if they do it's usually exorbitant shipping costs). The other pair of earrings I had been eyeing was sold out, but I got the Toda instead, they're a lot like the Scarlett earrings your mum got, but they have zirconia on the outer ring and the rings are closer together and the Toda are more golden in colour whereas the Scarlett look a touch more rose-gold-y. I'm really excited since I can't wear costume jewellery either, so I'm looking forward to these pieces that I'm sure I will get to enjoy for a long time. The Toda especially are everyday type of earrings in my opinion, so I'll definitely get good use out of them. And well, the Hana Marble Blue ones have a sentimental meaning since they remind me of my uni studies and living abroad in China. Plus blue is my favourite colour so I have a lot to pair them with.

Oh man YEEEES! Late '90s to early 2000s had some GREAT movies. Keanu did some great stuff during that time. If you haven't seen it before, I HIGHLY recommend The Replacements. It's another Keanu movie from that time period and it's SO quotable. I've seen is many many times and my family always quotes from it. It's hilarious.

Cases in Japan are also increasing, so i made sure to go to the military base this weekend to get some items just in case they restrict non-residents from it again due to the rise in cases in Tokyo. Although I feel Tokyo is highly reluctant to undergo another "soft lock-down" because we never officially underwent lockdown, there might be some new restrictions in December if the cases continue to increase. Its looking like winter break might become a staying at home and only going out to exercise or grab take-out kind of break. 😓

I really loved Lilac Girls, and around that time had also read Glass Castle and The Boston Girl. If a local shop has them, they're definitely a must. I've been reading the Third Body Problem (a sci-fi) and have really enjoyed the disconnect from the present time. That and the Parable of the Sower. So good.

It's been getting cloudy and gloomy at my place too 😅, it was briefly bright on Wednesday (which happened to be my birthday 😳), but afterwards back to gloomy again (oh well, that's Belgian weather for you! 😅🙈). It has also been getting steadily colder (but I am well prepared for it, I have been in a knitting streak since October and I got a new cowl and shawl just in time so yay 😃😆. I take a while to summon my willl to do my laundry 😅 but once I am done with it I always enjoy the warm and fragrant clothes 😅😂

hey Kyuho, I recommend a couple of movies starring Keanu around late 90's. 'Chain reation', 'Devil's advocate'. 'A walk in the clouds' can be recommended as well. I have been a longtime fan for him.
