Simple dinner recipe: Potatoes & ground beef stew
1kg potatoes
2 large carrots
1 pound ground beef
3 grated tomatoes
1 chopped onion
3 minced cloves garlic
Chopped celintro & parsley
Salt, pepper, smoked paprika, chilly powder, turmeric
1tbp mild pepper paste
Ground beef seasoning:
1 pound ground beef 4% fat
3tbp chopped celintro & parsley
1/2tsp black pepper, 1/2tsp salt, 1/2tsp smoked paprika, 1/4tsp chilly powder
1tbp mild pepper paste
Mix all the ingredients. Shape balls
In a hot pan, add 6tbp olive oil, sweat chopped onion, garlic for 1 min add tomatoes, salt pepper 1/2 tsp paprika, 1/2tsp turmeric, add potatoes & carrots, 4 cups boiling water. Cover & cook until 90% tender. Add ground beef, cook for 15 min more or what it takes.
Sprinke some parsley when serving
