Nice. By the way, cellphone signals are polarized vertically or at 45 degrees. Could changing the slant of the curve have a better effect?

For calls you could plugin the headset that comes with your phone. Many people also use their phone in place of a pocket wifi/mifi. For example they enable the mobile hotspot on their phone and then surf from their laptop. This could improve their speeds :) For texting and other general use, this reflector wouldn't be overly useful.

hi i just made one and my internet is usually at 90 but when i put this in nothing has changed do you have any tips/ ideas to help i havent been able to improbe signle at all, i went outside and managed to get it to 86 but then it went straight to 101 im not sure why if you have any tips please let me know also mine is smaller then your design.

What unit of measurement are you talking about? 90ms ping? 90Mbps download? 90dBm signal? Thanks

oh right probably should have mentioned that im on field test mode on my iphone 6s so i have 90dbm signal im pretty sure and just before you replied i have been trying to get better signal all day and have been putting it in different places/angles and it has helped a bit but quite unreliable and not working nearly as good as yours and i also made a bigger one not as big as yours but still quite big and has not improvd it? and ideas or other solutions for better signal

The phone needs to be placed into the slot on the reflector because that's where the signals will be reflected to. If making calls, you'd need to use the loudspeaker feature or a headset. If using for the internet, you'd probably want to enable mobile hotspot on the phone and connect to it from another device. As a general purpose phone signal booster, it has its limits.

Use the phone as a mobile hotspot, turn on handsfree for calls, bluetooth keyboard for SMS.

Forgive my ignorance, but you started at-90 and ended at -77. You said you wanted the number to go lower. Isn't -77 closer to 0 than-90? Wouldn't that make it a higher number? I think a number such as-100 would in fact be lower.

It would work for routers. But of course it will make the antenna directional, so you need to have line of sight.
