From basic terracotta saucers to boho pendant lights - Let me share how to create this DIY rope lighting fixture using affordable Amazon finds! Using the same method you can put your own twist to it. I'm using terracotta pots and saucers because I'm a crazy plant lady. What would you use?

Wow this turned out BEAUTIFULLY. Such a smart and creative DIY!! I love how this turned out, the terra cotta saucers are so adorable and match so well with all the pots and the walls. Great idea to paint the inside white so it reflects not and it also looks so sleek. I definitely want to try some lampshades like this with my grow lights. Amazing 😍😍

I've always wanted to change the lighting in my dining area (and also give my plants extra light) but i don't have any experience with electricals. Thank you for recommending this method esp the rope cord kit! made it easier than i thought! 😀

Hi there! New subscriber here :) I think this is a great idea! Now that you have this set up with terracotta plates and pots can you share what you used to secure the light fixture to the ceiling? I imagine it can be fairly heavy

The pendent light from amazon actually came with hardware. it has a tension gasket that secures the nail on to the ceiling. If youre interested in the exact thing, I linked it in my amazon shop in the description! Thank you

I haven't tried this but I have read that soaking clay pots makes drilling much easier.
