In this video I made a very simple roller blind. Never done this before, so I'm happy that it actually works!😁
I only used leftovers for this one.

I think by Going into the Settings Wheel at the bottom of the video's screen. You slow the film down to .05 or slower, take screen shots and you'll see he is using 2 cords. Both tied from behind and you can see the threading route. It's always very helpful to have a written explanation of such cool ideas.

Yup, the sped up part was the more important part for me.

Neat that’s six eyelets…1 & 2 up for nails/ect to hang to wall, then 3 & 4 straight out to window back side for being up the curtain, 5 & 6 are at the ends also straight out to back side for the loop drawing of string. One string tied at one end to eyelet #1 loop it around curtain thru # 3 then thru #5. Second string tied at eyelet #2 again loop it under curtain thru #4 then thru #6. That’s how I mapped on the pattern. If use a long enough piece of string can actually thread this pattern backwards to their tie points to use one continuous string instead of two strings. I love crafting, sewing, diy etc And I love learning from others 😘 Thanks!

Hello! Thanks for the video :) I have completed the sewing portion but the order in which the cord is threaded eludes me. Is there a chance for a slower video of that. Thanks again!

How do you coax the bottom to roll???
@brambleinhabitant
@brambleinhabitant 10 ай бұрын
The thread was first tied at the top. The it goes behind the blind, comes out at the bottom, and goes up again on the front, and then goes to the right. The slot through which the bottom dowel goes through is stitched with the cloth folded outward. Since the thread behind the blind is fixed at the top, when you pull down the thread on the right, it'll force the bottom dowel to roll up. At least, that's my understanding. 🤔
