For contexts in low light settings (or with high contrast lighting) with moving objects like at a concert, would you recommend turning on the auto framing and the super smooth feature? Glad it was helpful! No I would not turn on auto framing, super smooth also crops in a lot, as long as you're not jumping or running around, I wouldn't use it!

Well that‘s tricky. Smartphone are not really made to record in dark super loud environments. Only thing is lock the focus and exposure to not have changes constantly and try that the iso isn‘t crazy high

I don't have this model of samsung, but I received a videofile filmed with it. Mediainfo showed that it used VP9 as a video-codec. Can you confirm that by showing the settings of this smartphone? In your video, I only saw H.264 being mentioned on the advanced settings screen.

depends on what kind of video you want to create.. a "live report" for example, just shoot at 24fps, a highlight reel with maybe some slow motion shots? shoot at 60fps

Hi! Wie zum Teufel kriege ich es hin, HDR10+Aufnahmen in davinci resolve richtig zu bearbeiten!?? Ich bin dahingehend echt am verzweifeln und kurz davor, zu resignieren und diese Option nicht mehr zu nutzen.. Ich bekomme ums Verrecken nicht die Farben originalgetreu hin. Egal was ich für color input spaces oder gammas einstelle. Das ist echt zum Haareraufen.. 🤯 Klar ist, ich habe keinen HDR-fähigen Monitor und muss daher für die timeline und den output SDR bzw rec709 wählen, aber trotzdem sind die farben nicht so, wie wenn ich das selbe Motiv ohne HDR10+ aufnehme.. Ich hoffe, du hättest da den ein oder anderen Tipp parat.

This Samsung model is probably king of low light .What i dont like in Samsung that they still keeping their HDR10+ when Iphone is even recording with Dolby Vision but thats not needed when you have TV which will cross 700-800nits Even latest SoNy experis doent support Dolby Vision . Lastly SoNy exleria 4k60 will record at 150mbit thats astonishing. Cheers

the stock camera app is a big problem for pro film makers.... it adds an extra sharpness to the video, even in pro mode which i hate a lot.

You have to find it yourself maybe ther are some settings that 1 should turn off cause i use to see so many reviews on youtube from pro photographers/videographers and neither of them told that has an issue like this on s23ultra and they captured a really beat and cinematic videos with it using also nd filter/lenses... That's why i think you are not using it properly or maybe it depends from what software is in the phone too

Btw, anything over 1080p is not that breathtaking on a phone. Already 4K is an overkill for any device that uses AI upscaling. 8k is plain bad when you zoom in. Let's say 4K is just enough.
