Usually I have to force myself to appreciate a crispy video when I'm told it is shot only using a smartphone. Here, I am genuinely impressed by how good the 8k looks. It doesn't look over sharpened, and has normal looking colors. Still nothing you get from DSLR, but really really impressive for smartphones

So glad I decided to trade in my s21 base model for this phone. The picture quality is bananas, but unfortunately I haven't had much experience with the video recording. It really is something impressive to see. And I noticed people who can't tell the difference have a lower resolution phone, limiting their perception of the quality.

Yep depends what their display is, a lot are rec709 8Bit colourspace 1080 displays, or 2k 'UHD'. Need a 10Bit 4K HDR display at the least really

It's pretty funny because the crop at 0:52 to compare 100 mp vs 200 mp should absolutely show NO difference if they were really at the megapixels listed. That was a very subtle crop and even 24-33 mp wouldve handled that with no degradation. At least it is an improvement. The natural bokeh and stablization both were very impressive. The 8k itself looks unimpressive as the sharpening and noise reduction is just too much for it to actually retain 8k detail. Everything is great if you cut down the specs by 75% and keep it real.

And don't forget the insane battery performance!!! I went two and half days on a full charge, using Google maps, and social media. I'm not much of a photo enthusiast but i love that it is more than capable in that regard whenever i need it. So, when I finally decided to charge, my battery was at 24% after almost 3 days! Please note that I don't have it running at maximum performance capacity, I don't need all that.

I am watching in full resolution on my s23 Ultra, which I got yesterday. And safe to say the video looks amazing. Did you do alot of editing to the video? Or is it untweaked in the normal auto mode of the camera? I am thoroughly stunned at how far camera's have come on phones. And yes the optical image stabilisation for video is very good. I can't say for what the 8K looks like as I do not have an 8K TV

Hi sir I bought samsung 23 ultra a week before . I wanted to know how to stop post processing of photos especially for 200mp camera clicked. 1:36 but it isn't only OIS, in normal phones nowadays OIS and EIS work together. And sometimes you can check if the lens is moving when you're not sure that phone uses OIS in video recording.
