This is the simplest method of assembly of this type of pod that I’ve seen. Thank you!

My granddaughter started 1st grade. I made a little pod for her, Daddy can pop a command hook on the side of the desk and she’ll have an extra place to keep scissors, glue sticks etc. I am a new sewer, this video was fabulous, thank you!

Make and use these as gift bags. Especially when I’m gifting one of my crochet baby ensembles. A dress, sweater, shoes, diaper cover, pants, and whatever else I decide to make usually ends up being too much for the cheap store bought gift bags. So, I grab about a 1/2 yard by 1 yard strip of fabric & hand sew a quick foldable cloth bag & add ribbon drawstrings to finish it off. They take less than a half hour to make by hand, and are so much nicer than cheap paper bags!

What a fantastic baby gift your crochet goodies make and popping everything into your custom made fabric bag really is the icing on the cake. Lucky babe and Mama that's for sure. Hugs from the UK. Marion

Very cute. So when you say Fabric Pods, do you mean they’re a like little garbage bags to throw away little threads and cuttings? I would use them for that. I’ll be making one. Looks fairly easy and so cute. Thank you!

Hi Sewing Studio, thank you for the tutorial! I have a question; if I make a smaller or larger size basket should I still only cut 2inch squares off the corners? Thanks
@SewingStudio Жыл бұрын
Hi Claire - Thanks for the question. It does come down to personal choice, as it depends on how big/small you want the base to be. We do highly encourage that you try and stick to the same ratios we use in the tutorial to end up with a good size pod. For example we used a 10 inch square and cut out a 2 inch square from the two bottom corners, which is a 1/5th of the original square size. Hope this makes sense!
