this story is pretty standard tbh, there's a hundred series like this at this point, but i kinda actually like this one lol, it's very wholesome and funny compared to most, also not too many weird anime tropes, and the writing seemed pretty competent with the characters making intelligent decisions, all they needed to do was actually advance the character relationships and it could've been a stand-out show imo.
