SIMPLE Guide to Disney World Transportation - Transportation Options Around Disney World!

With lots to see and do while at Disney World, it's important to know how to get around Disney property in order to make the most of your experience! In this video, I will be sharing with you ways to get around Disney World as well as transportation options that are available to use!
0:00 - Disney World Transportation options:
0:13 - Option #1
Disney World Buses: One of the most well-known ways to get around Disney World is by using the Disney World buses! The buses are a great way to get from park-to-park or resort-to-resort! There are bus stations at each of the parks as well as Disney Springs. Consider using the buses while getting around Disney property!
1:25 - Option #2
Disney Skyliner: The Skyliner is one of Disney's newest means of transportation. The Skyliner is great for park hopping, resort hopping, or for seeing new areas of Disney property! The Skyliner is an aerial gondola system that is a fun way to get around Disney World! You can find Skyliner stations at the exit of Epcot, the entrance of Hollywood Studios, and at the Riviera, Caribbean Beach, Pop Century, and Art of Animation Resorts!
3:39 - Option #3
Water Transportation: Not only can you travel by land and sky, but sea also! Disney provides a variety of water transportation options when on property. There is a ferry boat available to use to get to Magic Kingdom as well as other water taxis to use at some of the resorts!
6:02 - Option #4
Monorail: Disney's Monorail is used primarily as a way to get to the Magic Kingdom. However, there is a separate resort Monorail that connects to all of the resorts located near the Magic Kingdom! There is also a Monorail that runs to Epcot from the Transportation and Ticketing Center. This is a great way to resort and park hop!
8:05 - Option #5
Rideshare: If you are looking for more flexible means of transportation, using Uber or Lyft is always an option! During peak hours (such as when the parks open and close) Disney transportation can get crowded and a separate means of transportation may be useful. Each of the parks and resorts has an area designated for rideshare pick-ups!

Megan, thanks for the wonderful job! I was searching for these options! Just wonder if these transport stations are in or outside the parks and need park ticket? I'll stay in one of the Disney resorts, may only go to a few parks but would like to visit other Disney properties if time permits.

Hello Jaslyn so glad to hear you found the video helpful! No you do not need to have a park ticket in order to use the transportation. All of the stations are in front of the parks before going through the gates so you can definitely take advantage of them to see other Disney resorts/locations. Does this answer your question? If I may ask do I understand correctly that it is possible to get on the bus to Disney parks at Saratoga resort without being a guest at that resort? I’m staying at a resort nearby that only offers once a day shuttles so I’m looking for alternatives. Would love a response back

Hello Jaycee! Thanks for the comment and good question. Yes there is bus transportation at Saratoga Springs that will take you to the Disney Parks! The transportation is free but the only thing I'll say is you may not be able to park a car there if you are not a guest at the resort. But as long as you can walk/ get to Saratoga springs you can take the Disney bus without being a guest! Does that make sense? Thank you for watching and let me know if you have any other questions!

Hello Marianne! Good question! The monorail only takes at most 5 minutes to get from the grand Floridian to magic kingdom using the resort monorail. The wait for the monorail is the only thing that may increase the time. To get to Epcot from the grand Floridian you will need to use the resort monorail to get to the transportation and ticket center. There you will hop on the monorail to get to Epcot! In Total ( not including lines to get on the monorail) I would say the trip would take 30 minutes. Does that answer your question? Thanks for watching! 🤩

@@mariannezappone6511 yes I would definitely recommend the monorail! As you mentioned it comes quicker and more frequently! The busses are on a schedule and only come at certain times. If you see a bus is scheduled to pick up around when you are ready to leave that may be a good option but I would stick with the monorail! 🤩

If I am staying off property and want to go to the Disney Boardwalk how would you recommend I do that?

Good question Darbee! I would recommend if you have a car, drive to Disney springs and take a Disney bus to one of the boardwalk resorts! If you don’t have a car, I would recommend using Uber or lift! Also, one way you can park at one of the boardwalk resorts is if you have a dining reservation for a restaurant at that resort. Unless you have a dining reservation, only guests staying at that resort can park there. Does this help at all? Let me know if you have any other questions and thanks for watching! Hi there! Great question and sorry for the delayed response! This is correct, there are no busses from Disney Springs that will take you directly to the Disney World parks. However, there are some resorts, such as the Contemporary and Grand Floridian, that are close to Magic Kingdom that have busses that go directly from the resorts to Disney Springs! Does that make sense? You are also correct, you are not able to bring luggage on Disney World buses. Where are you looking to go from Disney Springs? I would recommend taking an Uber or Lyft and then using Disney transportation once you drop off your luggage. Hope this helps and have a great trip!

Hello Superman Reviews! Glad you enjoyed the video 🤩 that’s a great question and the best way would be to go to Hollywood Studios bus station and take a Disney bus to get to Magic Kingdom! Unfortunately there isn’t another type of transportation that directly connects those parks, such as the skyliner or monorail, so I would take a bus! @@Manosh0 There are bus stations at each of the Disney world parks! Once, you park, go to the entrance of Magic Kingdom and take the bus that will take you to Hollywood Studios! At the end of the evening you can take the bus from Hollywood Studios back to Magic Kingdom! Does this help?

@@amitgrand Great question again and I am excited for you to make your first visit! Personally I think if you have three days and are wanting to go to those three parks I would only do a single park ticket for each of the days. There is so much that you can do in each of the parks and I highly recommend just spending a day there so you don’t waste time hopping from park to park.If you decide to do a park hopper day I would recommend doing that the last day of your visit to get to anything that you may have missed. Does that make sense?

the park hoper will be disgaurd cause we will not giving it out too the public not at all, including that ride shares will not be on sale with our rules that will be not giving it out cause if my employes do that then they will have to be told on the issue will be replacement for your job position.
