I love your headband, but mine turned out so wide, 8" before gathering it. The first section was combined purls and ewraps, total of 12 rounds. Then middle section of 10 rounds, then the bottom is the same as the first section, total of 12 rounds again. I used the same size yarn.
@MrsRynsai3 жыл бұрын
What loom and did you use e-wrap for the whole thing? If so, I mention that e-wraping the top and bottom will make it bigger as it's a much looser stitch and to use u knit for the top and bottom, then use e-wrap just for the center
@LoriM19593 жыл бұрын
@@MrsRynsai I followed your instructions...you ewrapped the top and bottom, not knitted, so I figured our sizes should match??correct?
@MrsRynsai3 жыл бұрын
You're using the 60 peg 1/2" gauge loom with the Color Made Easy yarn? If so, it should be exactly like that unless you did your e-wrapping really loose

do you have a version of this headband for toddlers please?
@MrsRynsai4 жыл бұрын
As I mention in the video, you can do this on any size loom for adult or child. So you would just use the loom you would normally use to make them a hat 😉

First, thank you very much for doing this video. I understand the middle section so much better now. I have a question though, once you’ve finished the Twisted Stockinette section, is it critical to go in the opposite direction from your last stitches for your first row of Purl stitches or will it be okay to proceed in either direction?
@MrsRynsai5 жыл бұрын
Either direction is fine

I’m a new loomer. Really wanted to make this but it is not specific enough for me 😞. Wish you would show how to do it from the start. I tried and couldn’t make this work 😭 please help. 🥺

Hi Monica, what is it you need to understand? The top and bottom are garter and I show how to do the middle section also... 🤔
@Monica-mc8wi4 жыл бұрын
@@MrsRynsai thank you for responding! The very first row I e wrap. Then round 1 I purl but in the video around 7:09 you are one ahead of your starter peg. So you are on a white peg not the black starter peg. Why? Mine didn’t do that. My yarn is on the peg to the left of the starter peg 😑
@MrsRynsai4 жыл бұрын
@@Monica-mc8wi because I am doing the TWISTED STOCKINETTE where you e-wrap in one direction and come to the last peg and go back the other direction as I explain in the video ;)

Are those special hand gloves that you have on and if so where did you order them? Do you use them to keep your hands from bending and hurting? What happened with your thumb?

What is the purpose of reversing the direction of the middle e-wrap section? Does it result in a different look than doing the e-wrap rows in the same direction? Excuse my ignorance...novice, here. Thanks!

mine came out double the size. This tutorial was not helpful as you had already started the project and knit counterclockwise. It was very confusing and I would not recommend this video since I wasted a whole skien of yarn on something I won't wear or gift. -3/10
