Simple how to: Fix Fiat Punto faded tail lights, with LED bulbs

Easy DIY how to: fixing faded taillight filters on a Fiat Punto second generation (1999-2010) with LED tail and brake bulbs, and amber coated indicator bulbs. You will get purer color light than is possible even with brand new light assemblies, plus the usual LED advantages of long life durability, cheaper long term bulb costs, and lower power usage.
You will need:
* Screw driver
* 17 mm socket and socket wrench
* 1156 (BA15S) replacement bulbs:
1) 2 x red LEDs, medium brightness, to replace 10 W incandescent, pictured type has 19 x 5050 SMD chips in 'tower' configuration

2) 2 x red LEDs, high brightness, to replace 21 W incandescent

Nb: You must use the correct color LED to match its purpose. Never use white LEDs for colored lights!

Hello! I have a problem, i dropped that nut inside of the car and i replaced it of course but i have no clue how to get the old one back... on bumpy roads i can hear it somewhere inside the car but i dont know how to get to it. I tried using a extentible magnet stick but i wasn't able to grab it...

When i try to install a LED bulbs in front headlights or rear it works but i have the singal on dashboard

My LED light in the rear of my fiat punto is no longer working. can i change LED lights to normal instead as they cost a lot less.

Which Punto do you have. The Mk2 in this video uses normal incandescent bulbs. The video shows retrofitting LEDs into the original holders. If you have retrofitted LEDs and want to go back, you can just do the opposite. If you have a newer Punto with factory LEDs, you will have to replace the entire light assembly - try eBay or wreckers.
