so, i'm not clear on where your can exhausts to - did you route it back to the turbo or did you just vent to atmo? can you elaborate on what fitting went where? the number of fittings you used, just isn't adding up to me.

I had the same question so I'm glad to see you answered it. I was also wondering if you gutted the CCV filter or left the filter media in and plan to change it as required? Is the lack of draw from the turbo, since you vent to the atmosphere, an issue w/o gutting the filter?

In ATS's defense, they have 6 stages of builds for most transmissions and just a valve body upgrade or stage 2 upgrade isn't really the transmission specs fault!! That comes down to the owner. . .

Where did you route the out line to?

No matter who builds transmission it will fail fast again, unless you control the heat. Remove your transmission thermostat because it holds transmission fluid at 200 degrees temperature before it circulate fluid through cooler.

Stage 3 ATS 68rfe, stage 2 turbo, everything is going good. Medium off road, heavy hauling. No complaints here

Ram BEAST Projects when running duals on the 3500. The tire pressure is paramount. My rear end was shaking like crazy and the dealership replaced 2 outer rears. A few days later I’m still getting a bad shake. I checked the tire pressure of the rear tires and they were over inflated. Once I adjusted the tires the truck runs much better. Although it still shakes some and the passenger seat still shakes. Still a good lesson about running duals.

Do you have to Drain the catch can? What happens if it get full? would it go into the turbo, motor?

It would just dump onto the ground, but it’s never full between oil changes. The baffling in the DJ valve cover is awesome!

Yeah no kidding about the Monsters. I have a friend who used to work for the company who provides the concentrated powder for those and he had to wear a respirator to handle the flavors. I quit drinking them and have a lot less heartburn.

The DJ valve cover comes with caps to plug the lines. You can get a block off plate from KingSpeed to completely remove the lines. I just never got around to doing it, I just capped them.

Mines just like yours was. I ordered the catch can. Limiting factor is the 16AN hole on the valve cover. Didn't know where or if I could get one. Even was at D&J trying to address it but it is what it is. 16AN. Lol

Did you put the flares back on the beast or are you going to leave them off seeing what they did to your paint? Word of advice, stay away from bio diesel in the beast. Had to put some in my Cummins on a trip and you can tell a huge difference in how it runs,and not in a good way.

The flares off for the time being. I got the rear ones repainted. I need to order new hardware from Bushwacker & I’m working a solution to protect the fenders with them on. I just need to find the time to do it. Haha Good to know about the bio diesel. 👍🏻

Installed it on my 2018 2500 Hemi and the trans temps have decreased by 50* on average. Heat is the enemy! The video of my install is up on my KZbin page. Dude any transmission is only as good as the package that's chosen. Obviously whoever had the purple transmission is abusing the truck !! As far as your truck if you don't get a transmission that will handle 800 to 1000 horsepower you wasted a lot of money with your transmission. Just saying. When I watched your deal with the transmission out of your truck I couldn't believe that you didn't go back with everything billet and as heavy duty as you could have.
