They work well. We are over 8.5 hrs from our cabin and can connect from our house. The only thing is if your in a cold area the battery doesn't charge as good in the winter.

Just curious how good is the camera when deducting a weak Wi-Fi signal and how long the battery stays active if there is less sunlight for a day.

Lol, not at all! But one can never be too safe in our opinion, we mainly love the ability to check up on our animals when we're out shopping. Have a blessed day.

Yea, I personally leave all my doors and windows open. Especially in the winter time. I'm in a safe area so there's no need for me to worry about locking everything up.
