sir i have a doubt.. if we know that for 2 years CI is 164 Pricncipal is 1600, then net interest rate wil be 10.25% but how do find the rate of interest for one year ??

Sir in question 2. I think the solution should be the following: Compounded yearly- R=4%, T=1 CI= 5000*4/100=200 Compounded half yearly- R=2%, T=2 CI= 100+100+2=202 Difference= 2

For three year, We can use this formula for CI = (3r + 3r^2/100+ r^3/1000)% of P. Its faster and easy to remember as it is similar to the formula for two year.
