Select the "show transcript" option in the description. then copy and paste transcript into Google translate, and you will get both Hiragana and Romaji translations. It might also be better to learn Japanese this way, by both listening and reading the translated transcript at same time.

I live in country with bad history and is still developing. There's alot of poverty and high unemployment rates. Which leads to high crime which makes people defensive. Values like kindness and respect are practiced by people/adults but for alot of people/families that are struggling there is no space for these values when don't have food or water. It's tough.

I’m curious about the rituals or prayers associated with Jizo. Are there specific practices people follow
@Sir_momo
@Sir_momo 3 ай бұрын
Often pray asking for Jizo’s protection, especially for children and travelers. A common practice is offering small stones at Jizo statues to symbolize the burden of grief that Jizo helps to carry
@PathToJapanese
@PathToJapanese 3 ай бұрын
Ojizo-san is considered a Buddhist image with a deep connection to children, including children who died at an early age and water children.✨ The red front robe and hat represent the attire of a child itself. The color red represents the sun and is considered the color of the origin of life. It is also believed to serve as a landmark for children so that they can go to the afterlife without getting lost. In many communities, it is customary for local people to regularly replace the Jizo's headdress or hat with a new one. This is an act of respect for the Jizo and an expression of their feelings for the children who have passed away.😆

@PathToJapanese Have you thought about collaborating with other Japanese language YT creators? It would be great to practice real conversations while exploring new locations/places/events. It could be a fun way to learn from each other and share different perspectives on language learning.

I posted a question on previous video but is was late last night also you may not have seen it. I repeated it below; I need some help. I learnt that Rice is Gohan, but today i was told kome and raisu are also Japanese words for rice. 1. whats the difference and do i have to learn all 3 words 2. why are there so many words for the same item.

Sorry for all the questions but I'm trying to understand the basics well as I progress with learning Japanese. Your assistance will be much appreciated.
@PathToJapanese
@PathToJapanese 3 ай бұрын
Thank you for your question.😊 1: “Gohan” is the state in which the rice is ready to eat (cooked with water). 「 Rice」is the hard state before cooking, which does not contain water. Okome” has an ‘o’ to express ‘kome’ politely. ”Okome” and ‘kome’ are the same. Rice” is the English word ” rice. It is used when rice is used in Western menus. Examples: curry rice, omelet rice, Do you want a hamburger set with bread or rice? 2: In Japanese culture, multiple words with the same meaning are sometimes used to express subtle nuances and emotions.🌺
