Hey!!! i just watched the one with Kanan & Biswa again 2 days ago and I just wanted to let you guys know that has anyone ever really told you how beautifully you pour wisdom in simple words! dear kenny.. (kenneth?), I'm a girl and I feel I have emotional privileges (not feel know) that soo many guys don't. Guys (especially in movies) make fun of girls that they are emotional, they cry, they tell their friends everything, etc. and that actually makes me feel bad for guys that they don't have such an option even if they want to be so. Guys have such constraints to be vulnerable, I think daddy issues exist because dad has issues. even the guys around me who I think have it a bit better than others open up and are emotional mostly with girls. can you talk about your emotional experiences as a man? I think more boys need to hear that than girls. also, how can I help the men/boys around me without making everything so serious? like I just want to make sure the men in my life are emotionally healthy it's ok if it's not me they open up to. toodles :)) P.s. Hey Ken ! MY QUESTION - Recently, during the pandemic our countries attitude towards the lower section of society was revealed (the migrant crisis, police brutality etc.). In midst of all this i had a extremely first world problem as i looked on the pictures of the migrants walking home, I felt guilty of my privilege. I'm still a student so i couldn't myself but i made my mom donate money to various NGOs but at night as i lay on my comfortable bed with a full belly, i couldn't help but feel guilty. And the thought of "what have i done to deserve this" has been running through my head for some time now and I'm aware that this may read like a very stupid, upper-class question but i'd love to see your take :)

for Parth's question on homophobia- every human has some core values- which are strong and people generally have them developing from childhood, very difficult to change and very difficult to influence. Based on these core values and experiences are formed 2nd level values which are rather flexible. As a person, if you are not homophobic and that is your core value and you stick with it because it matches your personal code of ethics and morals, however, in the same way, homophobia is also someone else's core value and no matter what you do, it cant be changed. If you realize that its someone's 2nd level value, you can try and positively influence that person. For your own peace of mind, for any topic, if you find people who are very close to you having completely opposite core values the best solution is to avoid the topic discussion completely since neither's extreme values can be influenced, but if you realise that the person holds 2nd level value has discussions over chai with them to try influence. This suggestion will only work if you directly do not belong to the LGBTQ community since then it will be an attack on you and it's actually not possible to ignore such people. The best is to not cut them off, but have a stronger bond with agreeing on people so that you are mostly in an environment of self-confidence and acceptance.

That being said I have a genuine question for you and I do not mean to offend you or be unappreciative of your work in any terms by asking this question. Kenny, I have anxiety issues, I get panic attacks sometimes. I’m working on this with my therapist. But whenever I’m feeling anxious and I tell my boyfriend, he gets very uncomfortable. He has never had any experience with mental health issues, neither with him nor his friends and family. He doesn’t like to talk about my anxiety issues, and he expresses that very bluntly, and I feel hurt. Is this a red flag in our relationship, or we can work on this? Seriously? You had to ask this question? Anyone who refuses to discuss mental health problems should be rejected immediately. Break up with him, he is stupid, if he is willing to learn about it and open minded about mental health that's good but then if he thinks it is just a 'phase' you should move on.

You know your answer you are just validating it I feel that .But since u asked ,trust me take a break honey cause you will be hurting and increasing your anxiety. You already know how it works what triggers you. I don't know how much you are attached to him but trust me no one can help you when you are having your anxiety attacks and looping of emotions. You will have to suffer and if you want to then ask your self for what? Just remember that it's your life , you are loved and you have your family to support bcoz for many it's even hard to seek medical help. There are also many helpline numbers if you want u can talk to the counsiler anonymously. Love and wishes to you and your family.I know it's hard but never give up❣️💐😘

I have anxiety issues too..n I can totally relate to you n I can understand ur feelings when u get hurt by ur significant other..no doubt it is the worst feeling ever.. Anyway...U don't have to think twice in this matter just move on n let him go ..I know it is easy said than done n u might feel trapped n have tough time breaking up with him...See if u break up now you will get hurt , have anxiety attacks also but in the long run it will be beneficial for you . After all your health is the most important thing 🤷 If u still want to continue ur relationship then it is up to you..it is ur life n u are the ultimate decision maker...but reading ur text I must say it is a red flag🚩 u should discontinue this relationship without further ado... Ps. If he is really into you he will try to understand ur issues n won't let you go ..So just go for it n talk to him about ur decision to break up..

Hey Kenny! Hope you are doing well. Thank you for releasing long recording of you talking. They give some sense of peace to my otherwise chaotic mind. I am 21 and lately I've been very frustrated and confused. I cannot stay at one place, be it my career, my hobbies or my relationships (romantic or platonic). It's as if I am searching for something but I have no idea what it is. The thing that concerns me most right now is about my career. I've been studying law for past 4 years and now I want to change my profession. I remember I used to want to be a lawyer so bad and now it feels like I don't belong here. I don't have a problem with changing my career because I am still very young and I have a lot of time to decide but now I am afraid that what if I change my career and after a few years feel that that one isn't for my either. I am frustrated and scared and I really don't know what to do. #simpleken

I have watched all your long recordings of you talking. You put so much wisdom into simple words. It's incredible. Loved how you elaborated on how human brain is a piece of shit and you need to continuously remind yourself of your goals, why dating your friends is a bad idea, why 30s is the new 20s is a flawed concept. Thank God I saw this. I am 23, so I guess I still have 7 years to figure out what I really want my life to be. My question to you is if time rewinds and takes you 10 years back and you lose all your memory, but you have a chance to give yourself one advice to your younger self that you will remember, what will it be?

Kennyyyyyyyy, I have never come across another person with the same idea of marriage as that of mine. So, as I'd date certain people, I'd tell my best friend after breaking up, "Oh I'd have never married him anyway". My best friend sometimes felt that I was being a bit choosy; but after seeing the worst in someone; I'd often forgive them; and think that; "Okay, probably I'm manipulative enough to not make him behave in this way again; but not an innocent soul like my child." Maybe, you do not think exactly in this way, but considering a spouse to be a parent of your child: that thought resonated A LOT with me!

Hi, Kenny! (not sure if you'll be reading this but I'll take me chances so hi) I haven't ever commented on your videos before but I thought might as well. It wouldn't come as a surprise that I love your sense of humour and thoroughly enjoyed the special. I still need to watch you perform live someday, not sure when that will be but I am hoping it will be soon. I had messaged you on Facebook a few years back asking you to come to Manchester to perform and surprisingly you see-zoned the message 😆 I was able to attend my first comedy show last year when Kanan was performing but I really wish I get to experience all of my other comics as well. I have been a big fan of these long recordings of you talking and not giving advice. Even the intro song and podcast art is pretty cool. I think in one of your podcasts you mentioned how after a certain number of iteration of editing a special, the content just becomes unwatchable and nothing seems funny so I really hope you are able to relive the funny moments and appreciate the art that you have put out through other people's reviews and compliments. I'd request you to continue making Simple Ken Podcast for my selfish need of entertainment but obviously keep your health first and take time off if you need to. I wanted to know how you figured out what you wanted to do in life? I know that you pursued Arts but you happen to be funny and play the guitar and perhaps have other talents that I am not aware of so I wanted to know how you were able to narrow your choices down to this particular art form? I am asking this because there is a bunch of things I like doing but I have no idea what my true calling is. I am average at a bunch of things instead of being good at just one thing so I've always found it hard to know what I will be doing as a career. Even with my KZbin channel I was not able to narrow down to one niche so I started making videos trying new skills for the first time. If you could share your story of how and why you made the decision to do what you are doing that'll be really helpful. Thanks in advance.
