Some people work a lot and being a few minutes from work is more than worth it. People like to say taking a train to Manhattan from Queens or Brooklyn is 20 mins. It is not... I live 7 miles from lower Manhattan in Brooklyn and sometimes it takes me over 1.5 hours to get to work via train. By car it's no better either if there's traffic and you get stuck for an hour. If it takes me 1-1.5 hours to go each way for work that's almost 3 hours out of the day spent on commuting.

Kansas Isn’t flat We have the best education system in the country, free public college for residents, and the cleanest water supply in the US. We have middle schoolers learning what you guys learn in high school through a program called Regents and many graduate by 15/16/17 (depending on their birthday) thanks to the program. Also native New Yorkers are given programs for networking purposes to increase wealth. We have a 24 hour affordable public transit system and strict laws protecting tenants. We also get higher minimum wage and plenty of tax cuts if you know how to use them. The part of NY you’re seeing in this video and the original poster saw isn’t the REAL New York at all. Don’t buy that lie. They make the rent higher because they’re stupid and get taken advantage of and want to bring their friends but not get REAL jobs. Fuck them.

She does have a lot of clutter everywhere. I agree that a minimalist who's never home would do better but I think she's trying to think of herself that way /like when she says she's trying to use the nearby parks, libraries, stores etc /, but she also seems to be working from home /she is writing a book so she's an author??/. Anyway idk, for someone who's working from home this seems way too small and cluttered.
