As hero levels does not matter as much as they did before i think they should decrease the amount of time it takes to level them up substantially

@@satrontr1379 It still does, a 10 level difference is massive. I agree though, the time it takes should be cut down significantly especially during TH12 and TH13....... It's going to be TH17 soon so having a massive months long grind for those lower TH levels is unnecessary.

Lab Assistant (After TH8 the Labratory upgrades take longer than the buildings & heroes so it saves a lot of time) 3. Epic equipment (In the rocking reindeer event we had 3/8 epic equipment with an event pass so get those passes instead) 5. Book of Heroes (This book is very helpful for your heroes after TH11. It's also only 500 gems, which is great)

I'm saving all my 9k gems for book of heroes. When my Queen is already level 80, I'll buy her book of heroes weekly until she reached level 95. If I still have gems I'll use the rest on the Warden, and then save more gems (again) for BOH

Commenting before I watch. It’s gonna/should be Goblin Builder/Researcher because he’s by far the best use of gems in the game. Followed closely by the Builder’s Apprentice, which would be #1 except for the extremely long time to breakeven on your investment coupled with the super high gem cost to max him out.

Me and my friend are both th14s. I upgraded to th14 1 week before him. He used 2-3k gems to the goblin builder and passed me with ~15 upgrades because of that. I on the other hand spent my gems on the apprentice builder and is currently lvl 7. Because of that video, now I don't feel that bad spending months to upgrade him. W.

Well reasoned views. I personally feel the gain from Goblin researcher (when he's available) is best as there is no comparative way to get so much value in the lab. Also while the AB may offer longer term gains, once gotten, it remains a huge investment. Using your 100 gems a week for free guide, means you need to wait 65 weeks (so 15 months) to even get it to max. I feel like this factor may be missing in your calculations.

Simple question: max heroes with lvl1 def, or max def with lvl1 heroes? Obv max heroes, so BoH is the best choice. When u have max heroes, ho for starry ores. Max epic equipment is difficult.

hero potions only add 5 levels, you will still need to level up your heroes eventually and im not spending an entire week with one of my heroes being unusable. the book of heroes probably still is one of the best ways to spend gems
