I agree that it sounds good. I have enjoyed listening to it with my spiffy headphones & DAC/headphone amp, and I think the engineering, recording quality, mixing & post-production were generally exemplary, however....'something' was missing. FWIW & IMHO, it sounds just a bit too compressed & dynamically flat, which, in-turn, robs it off the energy one would have experienced in the hall. Perhaps my judgement has been clouded by it being on YT, but I have heard better on YT too. So, I think there were some 'goosebump' moments missing from the listening experience.

Great performance! BTW, the arpeggiated part heard in the last minute of the song (and mixed to drift between left & right at the back of the soundstage) was a really nice touch! It picked up the torch & carried the 'vibe' of the song forward, while the band calmed down & let the energy they created drift into the cosmos.... 👍

This Albums true stars are producer Pete Walsh ...Derek and Mick ....pure perfection. Its the only album i can still go back to after 40 years and still get goose bumps..... Headphones on...on every track ..you can either tune your senses into it as a whole...or pick out the bass...the synths....drums... Its magical...it can take you anywhere you want .
