Little upgrades at a time. Like do steering servo and linkage, then maybe CVD axels, then LCG kit, then over or underdrive. Keep the upgrades small and cheap.

I would toss on a RampCrab 6kg servo and some u-joint axle shafts next, an 3D print some LCG plastic parts that allow you to relocate the battery and ESC.

I've had a Rampcrab servo for 18 months now still going good very quick and plenty of power 👍

I have an upgrade problem so I'd go all out on it. Given that it's an entry price crawler i think it would be great to do a budget build. Mb100 and injora purple. Anything other than an emax servo (i hate those things) and some high clearance links. Basic upgrades that'll get most people where they need to be.

Arrg that whine is horrible on Axial/ spectrum electronics. Next thing I would do is to fit a Injora brushless ESC. It improves the slow crawl no end and removes the whine.

Would you have to change the motor at that point? So learning when it comes to the electronics.

@@kylegoode1990 no you can use the stock motor. But I’d highly recommend changing it out when installing a new ESC since the stock motor doesnt have enough torque and power
