Noted. I just set up this one. I didnt even do any water changes yet. But as the series will progress I will probably recorde how I do water changes. On all my aquariums I always do weekly water changes (20-40%).

How are the fittonias doing? Am one of your subscribers. How much of it is under water? Just the roots? Will they rot? Great setup...can't wait to see the updates. Any other common non-aquatic plants that can be planted in this manner?

All of the fittonias are growing. They are planted in the substrate and substrate is at the water level so roots are underwater. Maybe you can try with different types of ferns with exception that their roots need to above the water but as the plants grow their roots will grow into the water.

Yes to fill up the gaps but also to elevate the hardscape so I don't need spend a lot of substrate.

Do you know any aquatic plants that need less light? I am planning to make an aquarium similar to yours and want to grow some plants that are easy to grow and require little care, I am planning a tank without filter and oxygen.

You can basically try and kind of moss, Anubias and Egeria densa. I had those plants in different kind of setups and they always do good even in low light.

Actually I did wash it. I forgot to mention that in a video. It was so dirty I had to wash it several times.

@@IMaqua ohh, i saw the dust, still o wash like crazy. btw, it has alot of broken quartz, sharp, very sharp, so no cory, they will cut the barbs
