Thanks for the video. Do you also have vocabulary for vegetables? I got totally confused at a Norwegian supermarket the other day when I put the till on 'English mode' but none of the vegetables or fruits were in English >_

In " Hva kaller du en tomat etter at elefanten har sittet på den" , what does the "at" before elefanten mean in this sentence? another question , why is it when i say for example "Before this date" in norwegian it becomes Før denne datoen , we add an en after the word dato? thanks :D
@SimpleNorwegian4 жыл бұрын
The -en is because it’s in the singular definite form. The word «at» is difficult to translate, but usually it means something like «that», not in this example though
@zhbedren4 жыл бұрын
@@SimpleNorwegian Thanks! I tried using google translate though I know its not always correct, it showed that the together meant after, as for the -en, what i meant to ask was why is the word dato written in its definite singular form, cant we just say dato? i feel like i missed something. I have to say that your videos are unbelievably well detailed and clear, I tried a lot of videos before but none of them were this good especially for a beginner.
