Blown away by the simplicity. That bench would fit anywhere. Great video and great bench.

It looks like Ryobi just changed how their "Ryobi Nation" links are structured. It's now at www.ryobitools.com/nation/projects/detail/diy-outdoor-bench with the plans at 2e1293630802db8d0d56-50fcdb1c10e3e49a3d1b0541a2f13b69.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/projects/pdfs/b3dbd569fe61459cae2516b36223eb2b.pdf

Rewatching this. I love this simple design. Sometimes I just want something super simple that looks great and that I can get made. Theres a lot of satisfaction in completing quick projects. Sometimes I just need a quick win to keep me motivated for the longer projects that never seem to end. LOL And thanks for the plans. Just downloaded them.

Nice, simple & easy build. We built two of your other benches (with high back) last year & they came out perfectly. They are still looking great out on our deck today. Thanks🎉

The link to the plan is not working. But this is exactly what I was looking for. Can you just tell me the overall length you used for the legs. I can figure everything else out for the video and bench top I am using requires me to make my own size frame.
@soroako41424 жыл бұрын
Your clear, concise "no nonsense" narration is rare on KZbin - hopefully you will inspire others to lift their game. I was intending to build the bench you featured recently but this video's design will in fact be better suited. As well as giving me extra seating I'll have a handy spot to stow some wood for my fire pit. I'll be using 200 x 50 treated pine and out door rated Kreg pocket hole screws.

Well thank you. I appreciate that. Good luck with the build and make sure to tag me if you post it on social media.

This is by far the best woodworking book I have ever read, *TopFineWoodworking. Com* . My woodworking teacher endorses it to all of his students. I am impressed how authors managed to write very detailed topics. I`m surprised by the material and didn`t have a tough time following the lessons..

Nooice -- super comfortable. I made one in > 30 min but < weekend. I foolishly got some pressure treated wood from a hardware store without knowing anything. The wood was juicy and full of copper? The bench has cracked a little as it's dried out, but I think it will be ok. If I make another it will be untreated cedar followed by some kind of polyurethane.

Nice design. I like finishing the edges with a round over bit with router. Sanding for me never comes close to replicating that nice feel in hands on legs (in this case with bench)

Really nice bench. My son is looking to use this design for his Eagle Scout project. As others have mentioned, the link to the full plan no longer works. We're working on figuring out the exact dimensions of all the pieces, but would be easier if the plans were available. Any chance you can post those? Really appreciate it, thanks!

Nice video and build man. Looks sharp and not super complex. Your style and demeanor is very soothing, perfect escape from all the noise out there nowadays. Wanted to ask if you wouldn’t mind sharing your paint colors I noticed on the trims, walls and doors. It’s like the perfect combination of Nice, clean and modern classy colors. I’d love to borrow on them for my shop. Thanks!
