@@AnkitKumar-fy3ek After Rxe7 Qxe7 Rxg8+, king can only move to d7 or f7, and in both cases, Qxe7+ is definitely a check. Now if Kxe7, then Rxb8 and white is a rook and knight up. But if after Kf7 Qxe7, black plays Kxg8, then white loses both the rooks for a knight and the queen. So yes, better is to take the rook on b8 after the king moves to e7 or f7, and white is a rook and knight up.
@chessmagic5300
@chessmagic5300 2 жыл бұрын
For the puzzle, first Rook capture knight on e7, its double check to king and queen so queen must capture it otherwise black will loose his queen, so after Queen takes Rook, White Rook takes Black Rook at g8, it's a check and King must move from his box then you can also play queen capture queen and king capture queen then Rook on e8 capture b8 rook at the end you would ended up with a rook with pawns whereas black would have pawns only, if you donot wanted to exchange queen then simply you can capture rook first so at the end you will end up with a queen with rook while black would have only queen

Puzzle: White pushes the pawn at d4 to d5 attacking the queen. Now, Qxd5 is impossible due to Qxe7#. And if Nxe5, then Rxg8+ followed by R1g7+ and the black king will soon be trapped. Basically, the queen has to move and then it can't defend both e7 and g8 squares. Maybe I am missing something but this is the best move I could think of.

That would be a mistake, capture the queen first then the rook. Cause if the opponent moved the queen, it can cause troubles later. If you capture the queen first, then the opponent will only be left with pawns and you will have a rook.
@madanmohanpanda7515
@madanmohanpanda7515 2 жыл бұрын
@@shubhmishra5951 yes bro but after R×e7+ if Q×e7 the we must take the rook on g8 otherwise if we capture his queen then the black king is left with no option and he has to capture our queen on e7 then both of his rooks are connected and we are down a rook 🙃
@shubhmishra5951
@shubhmishra5951 2 жыл бұрын
@@madanmohanpanda7515 you are making a calculation mistake here, see after rook captures e7 and queen captures the rook. Now your other rook will capture the rook on g8 and there's a check, if the king goes to d7. Then, do a queen exchange, the king will capture and then you can grab the other rook. Opponent is left with pawns and you have a rook on your side. If king goes to f7 then you should capture the rook first.

The lines are all mainly accepted and good for white. However, at around the 2 minute mark, when he shows that black played e6, you can still go for c3, but preferably, you should play your knight to f3, which is actually the main line of the london , where you have 1. d4 d5, 2. Bf4 Kf3, 3. Nf3, this is the quote on quote" main line", but since the diagonal for white squared bishop for black is open, he can easily pin your knight. However, in this situation where e6 is played, the diagonal of the bishop is now blocked, thus allowing for Nf3. Just a small mistake.

@mrroarman7754

I'm also new but I think the whole idea from pinning the queen is to mess up your position or taking the queen so if you chose to activate the queen you lose the g2 pawn position and that will prevent you from castling king side cause it will be exposed but if you refuse the trade by moving the knight you lose the queen so you cant move the queen or the knight at that position but if you attacked the queen without the knight there then he can simply activate his queen without worrying about a bad trade and he can even attack the no more defended pawn at b7 in the next move so at that time you only just made him activate a piece while pining the queen to the knight will make him lose king side castling or will make him not improving the knight or the queen you can play against that move with bishop to e2 breaking the pin from the queen or h3 g4 at some cases (note : trading knight for bishop while the queen is still pinned will not be good cause he will take back with activating the queen) that is my 1000 elo analyzing so i might be wrong

Puzzle solution according to me Rook takes Knight, then black queen to rook is forced. The queen that was defending the rook is moved second white rook can take black rook and give check to King. Black can not block with sweety as it will be in white queen way so moving black king is forced. Then white rook can simply take the second black rook and end up with huge material advantage. From there it's very simple for white to win.

HI bro, your videos are quite useful in improving chess skills, but I need a little guidance from you about castling on king side. Because a lot of times it happens with me that my opponent comes up with queen A2 or H2 move after providing some defense to it and I cant move my king at all and it's a checkmate. So how to defend those squares after castling? or how to take king to a safe square afterwards
