Solution of puzzle is : Bg8(threatning mate on h8 square),King or queen must capture the bishop,If kxg8 then white can play Rxd8 and the queen is gone.If Qxg8 then Rd8 pins the queen.Bf8 blocks the pin. Then white plays R1d7 and we have a mate in 6

Puzzle Solution---> 1 Bg8 (Idea to checkmate with Qh7 next move) To prevent it- If 1 Kxg8 , Rxd8 And the queen is gone because of pin. If 1 Qxg8 , Rxd8 2 Bf8 (blocking the pin) , Qxf6+ 3 Kh7 , R2d7+ 4 Qg7 , Rxg7 5 Bxg7 ,Og6#
@hashimadeel4112
@hashimadeel4112 2 жыл бұрын
In the second part of your answer, after Bf8 blocks the pin, Queen to g6 is neither a check nor takes a piece, the right move after Bf8 is Rd7. And i think you meant Qxf6+, but that's a blunder since the rook on a6 takes the queen

Puzzle solution: We can see that black has clear weaknesses on light squares, and we do have a light-squared bishop and a queen ready to infiltrate via those weaknesses. Simultaneously, our rooks on d-file are putting pressure down the middle as well. So the winning idea lies in the crushing move Bg8!! If black tales the bishop either with king or queen Kxg8 or Bxg8) then Rxd8 pins black's queen in both cases. After Bg8, Rxd2 is an absolute disaster as Qh7# finishes the game on the spot.

I'm your big fan sir😍😍 i love the way you say " This Sweety is gone" 😍😍 I'm a beginner I'm watching your videos everyday in my opinion chesstalk is best chess yt channel. Puzzle:- 1.Bg8 if king takes then Rd8 pinning the queen if king tries to escape then (white) Qd7 and this escape comes to an end bcz king cannot go to g6 bcz white pawn is guarding g6 square. 2. Bg8 if queen takes then Rd8 pinning the queen.then (white) Qg6 prevent kings escape plan. Then take Rd7 guarding g7 square finally capture bishop with queen and it's checkmate...... Hope so this is correct ☺️

Thank u for this puzzle!! The move is bg8 ( capturing the Bishop is must because, if black doesn't take then we have a checkmate on h7 by Qh7#, so black has to take) He can take with his Queen or King but both are losing. If he takes with the Queen then :- We take the rook on h8, the queen( black ) is pinned so black has to take with the Queen. Then we take the queen with check and he has to block with Bishop otherwise it is mate, so black blocks with Bishop f8 and we take it with check and we end up being up a queen. Second thing he can do is:- Take with king that is also losing because of the following line:- White 1)Rxh8 Black 1)Qxh8 ( forced ) White 2)Rxh8 + We are up a queen and winning!!
