I bought one of these a year or so ago but haven’t used it yet. I am installing a new tire on my GoldWing and will use it tomorrow for the first time. I need to torque each (5) lugs nuts to 80 ft lbs. I’m hoping this does the trick. I just needed something simple but solid to use for small maintenance jobs on my bikes

I bought this from Amazon Japan and got the same exact calibration sheet with the same number for all the result. Also the inspector approval sign was also by Tommy Lee. (printed in slight angle.) just like yours. Seems very suspicious

I bought the foot pounds version and I have to admit I was wondering if my batteries were going dead or something when I was trying to read the liquid crystal display. It really is hard to read sometimes and it almost looks like it's dead but it's not. It's just a really horrible liquid crystal display and if there's one thing they could update it would be that.

I bought one of these there's a door on the back I actually put a battery in there I thought it was like a watch battery turns out it wasn't I don't know what that slot is for though Possibly calibration I don't know but then I realized you put the Triple A in the bottom

Those rechargeable batteries are not Li-ion, they're Nimh ( Nickle metal hydride ).

When not in use, do you need to zero out the setting to store the tool like you would on manual torque wrench, or is it automatically done for you? Thanks.
