Simple Primitive DIY for your Garden or Porch Decor

Come join me as I show you how to make a simple primitive Bee Skep from some rope and a flower pot! I’ll also build a Bee Skep shed and show you how to use it in your porch or garden decor. Lastly, I’ll show you my front porch and how all of my flowers are doing since planting them in April.

I actually thought of these this morning when I was in my garden. So 😊 look what shows up in my videos. I have two suggestions for you... 1- a bowl of cold water to put your fingers in (when you get hot glue on them) and 2 pick up a couple of packages of silicone fingers when you go to the Dollar Tree ( it will save you from burns). These turned out great 👍

This is a neat project! We were hiking in Pennsylvania and I heard a sound that stopped me dead in my tracks. Right in front of me was a big timber rattlesnake! We have hiked in many states and that’s the first time we’ve ever seen a rattlesnake. I was shaken after that and did not want to hike again on that trip! I later read that they are the deadliest snake in the United States.

You have a beautiful home I wanted to let you know that your red geraniums at the end of the season you can remove all the dirt from the reach and store them in a plastic tote without the lid in a cool dry place and they will come back next year after you replant them! And you can do this year after year! God bless!❤️

Hello Bridgett, I attempted to make a bee skep today and loved how it turned out. I bought the rope at Michael’s and a pot at dollar tree. It is hard to find the right shape pot. OH LORDYYY!! Wish y'all hadn't talked about snakes !! I live on what they call rattlesnake mountain!! Not really a mountain but it's snakes !! I have had them on my porch.. I rocked on a cottonmouth on porch and was it ever mad !! I've had the black rat snakes in my house !!! I've had rattlers under front door steps !! Dang !! I'm not going to sleep tonight !! What a wonderful relationship you and your mama have. Love this project and so doable. Now on the hunt for a container . Snakes uhhh- Unbeknownst to us a snake had 3 babies in our basement- which came up thru the floor vents into the LR. We were at a event and came home to 2 girls outside and 2 inside with the babysitter standing on the couch. Spent the night snake hunting!!! NOT fun times. Can laugh about it now tho. P.S. Dollar Tree sells silicone paddles (sometimes in makeup) that works great to push hot glue down on your project without burning fingers.
